Your account and free print files

Four Petals provides free print files through a personal, verified customer account. The responsible business and contact information appear below this text. This notice covers your account, free acquisitions and downloads.

Information and purposes

We process your name, email address, password hash, language preference and email verification for your account. On acquisition we record your personal licence, terms version, acquisition time and authorised files. This is necessary to perform our agreement regarding your account and files and administer your download rights. Technical session and request information is used for security and preventing abuse, based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

The newsletter preference is optional and separate. We record that choice with its time, source and text version, based on consent. You can change or withdraw it in My account. Accounts and free downloads remain available without subscription. We currently send no marketing emails.

Verification and delivery

Verify your email address using your personal verification link. Then choose the free personal licence on the product page and request immediate delivery. After the confirmation email, authorised files appear in My downloads. Nothing is shipped and no payment or order is required. No commercial rights are granted. Full personal licence terms are shown before acquisition and confirmed with their version. Statutory remedies for defective files remain unaffected; free acquisition does not automatically declare loss of withdrawal rights.

Files require a suitable 3D printer and slicer. Check the actual available file format and product-specific print information. Missing files or pending confirmation are not a reason to repurchase: contact the address below.

Cookies and your rights

We use functional session, CSRF and language cookies, with no advertising or analytics tracking. The language cookie is stored for up to one year. Contact the privacy contact to request access, correction, erasure or restriction and, where applicable, portability or to object. Withdrawing newsletter consent does not affect your download rights. You may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority: https://autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. Requests are assessed manually; necessary information may be requested to verify your identity.

Retention and deletion

PROPOSAL FOR REVIEW: Account and download information is retained while you maintain the account and download entitlement. Erasure requests are assessed manually. Only information still necessary to handle rights or specific statutory obligations is retained longer; other information is erased. This requires an operational manual process; no automatic deletion task is configured.

Hosting, email and transfers

The shop, account database, download entitlements and private files are stored locally on a Hetzner Cloud server in Nuremberg, Germany (metadata nbg1-dc3, network zone eu-central). Manual local backups are on the same server. Provider backup/snapshot activation has not been established. Verification, reset and download confirmation emails use MXroute LLC, a US provider, through chocobo.mxrouting.net. MXroute processes email content and sender/recipient metadata. The specific storage/backup location of this mail server, applicable retention periods, processing agreements and transfer safeguards have not been established. EEA-only processing therefore cannot be guaranteed; this section is not publication ready. Mollie is not used for free acquisition.
